This Privacy Policy explains what data the ParlaGames Discord Bot ("the Bot") collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. The Bot operates within the ParlaGames Discord server and is intended for use on this server only.

1. Data We Collect

The Bot may collect the following categories of data:

  • Identifiers, such as a user's Discord ID and username.
  • Server activity data, such as messages sent within the ParlaGames Discord server, channel and server identifiers, and timestamps.
  • Technical and usage data, such as command usage, interaction logs, and other metadata generated through use of the Bot.

This data may be used for purposes including, but not limited to: enforcing server rules (e.g., bans, warnings, moderation actions), operating and improving the Bot's features, relaying content between platforms (e.g., to the ParlaGames Minecraft server), analytics, and troubleshooting.

We aim to collect only what is reasonably necessary for these purposes. As the Bot's features evolve, the categories of data collected or their use may change; any material changes will be reflected in an updated version of this Privacy Policy (see Section 6).

2. Message Handling

The Bot may see messages sent within the ParlaGames Discord server only — it does not have access to messages in other servers. Messages may be processed for purposes such as relaying announcements across platforms (e.g., to the ParlaGames Minecraft server), moderation, or feature functionality. Unless otherwise stated, messages are not retained in a permanent or long-term database beyond what is needed to perform these functions.

3. Data Sharing

  • The Bot may pass limited data to the ParlaGames website in order to support and improve the user experience across our platforms.
  • Aside from this, user information is never sold or shared with any third party.

4. Scope

This Bot and its data practices are intended for use within the ParlaGames Discord server only.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Bot's features or data practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
